To me you are an angel in disguise.
Full of intuition, intelligent and wise.
Always giving and helping through good times and bad times.
You are the best friend I've ever had.

Though I've put our relationship through some cloudy days,

मुश्किलें दिलो के इरादे आज़माएगी
ख्वाबो के परदे निगाहो से हटाएगी
गिरकर तुझे है समभलना
यह ठोकरें ही तुझे चलना सिखाएगी

जिंदगी की असली उड़ान अभी बाकी है
जिंदगी के कई इम्तेहान अभी बाकी है
अभी तो नापी है मुट्ठी भर ज़मीं हमने
अभी तो सारा आसमान बाकी है

सोच को बदलो, सितारे बदल जायेंगे
नजर को बदलो, नज़ारे बदल जायेंगे
कश्तियाँ बदलने की जरुरत नहीं.
दिशाओं को बदलो, किनारे बदल जायेंगे

अपने साये से भी अश्कों को छुपा कर रोना
जब भी रोना तो चिरागों को बुझा कर रोना
जहाँ चोट खाना वहां मुस्कुराना
मगर इस अदा से के रोये सारा ज़माना

हम हवा नहीं जो खो कही जायेंगे,
वक़्त नहीं जो गुज़र जायेंगे,
हम मौसम नहीं जो बदल जायेंगे,
हम तो आंसू है जो ख़ुशी और
गम दोनों में साथ निभाएंगे.

जो मिला मुसाफ़िर वो रास्ते बदल डाले
दो क़दम पे थी मंज़िल फ़ासले बदल डाले

आसमाँ को छूने की कूवतें जो रखता था
आज है वो बिखरा सा हौंसले बदल डाले

शान से मैं चलता था कोई शाह कि तरह
आ गया हूँ दर दर पे क़ाफ़िले बदल डाले

फूल बनके वो हमको दे गया चुभन इतनी
काँटों से है दोस्ती अब आसरे बदल डाले

इश्क़ ही ख़ुदा है सुन के थी आरज़ू आई
ख़ूब तुम ख़ुदा निकले वाक़िये बदल डाले
